 Unboxing of VIVO Y91C.

Hello! and welcome to blog

My name is Hasnain. And this is our unboxing of Vivo Y91C and its full review. Vivo has sent this phone to us a few days ago, and in our video today we will tell you all the things that you want to know about this phone. Y91C is a budget offering from Vivo and it's retail price in Pakistan is Rs. 18,999/- and there are 3 colour options, Fusion Black, Sunset Red and our handset for today, Ocean Blue. The stand out features of this phone are its huge battery its dewdrop notch and small price. Let's move towards the unboxing and then give you full review of this phone. First let's remove the plastic on top the box, and break this seal and remove the lid. On topmost there is this folder, which has its user manuals. a silicon protective case. And here is the handset before looking at the handset, let's look at the remaining contents of the box In the box, there is a SIM ejector tool, a 1Amp power brick whose size is a little terrorizing for 1Amp bu still at least this power brick is localized. and you will not need any adapter to use it in Pakistan. Along with it there's a micro USB cable and no hands-free headset. Now, let's check out the headset. hmm. Interesting. The back of the phone is of this shiny plastic, but the hand-feel of the phone is quite good. A great thing is that this phone comes with a pre-applied screen protector. There is no fingerprint sensor at the back and there is no dual camera setup on the phone. Obviously, with a low price point budget had to be done somewhere. But still overall, I liked the unboxing experience. Long with it , I also like the localization of this phone. And when you start the phone for the first time, it start in Urdu. I always likes this kind of localization it shows that the company is really focusing in a country. Now, let's set the phone up and then we will tell you about the phone's specifications and features. If we talk about the display, in Vivo Y91C there is this 6.22 inches of Halo Full View display which has a resolution of 720 x 1520 and pixel density is 270 ppi On top of the display there is a trendy, dewdrop notch which is very in right now. and now its also available in Rs. 18000. Among the phone with notch, I personally like the dewdrop look the most. The colours of the display are great the clarity and sharpness however, not like the full HD display but suitable for daily usage. And I did not feel any unusual pixelation. Now, let's talk about the performance, in Vivo Y91C there is a MediaTek 6762R SOC is added, along with there is 2GB RAM and 32GB internal Storage. in which, out of the box 28GB is for your use but this phone's biggest plus point is its full dual SIM support I really liked this thing of this phone because in this price range where most competitor phones offer 16GB there this phone is offering 32GB internal storage, with a full dual SIM support, also giving you a dedicated micro SD card slot. Y91C ships with Android 8.1 Oreo, and the Vivo's Fun touch OS skin is added in the phone. This skin gives somewhat of an iPhone's iOS experience there is no app drawer and all the apps are at the front the layout of menu and settings are also like the iPhone, and the control panel of the phone comes from below instead of the top, just like in the iPhone. This is a plus point for those people, which, even in low price, wants an experience that is like an iPhone in looks. To obtain the budget price range, Vivo has sacrificed some features in this phone, one of those things is a fingerprint sensor. There isn't any fingerprint in Y91C but Vivo has given facial recognition in thus phone In our usage, this facial recognition was very fast and did not work slowly And I also tested it with galsses on the phone was unlocking. . The game run at low settings a little bit of lag was felt here and there, but the game was working so good, that I won the "Chicken Dinner". And if you can win the Chicken Dinner then you can think how the gaming experience would have been. And I really liked this thing of this phone. If we talk about the battery, in Vivo Y91C there is a huge battery of 4,030 mAH. And this is its main selling feature. A little disappointing thing is that, the phone ships with 1Amp power brick, because of it, it takes a long time to fully charge. In our charging test of Y91C in 10 minutes only 5% was charged, and to charge 20% it took 0.75 hours (45 min) And in 1 hour almost 25 % battery was charged. It would be better if you buy a 2Amp power brick, so that you can charge it fastly. If we talk about the battery life, it was not as good as I thought it would be specially with this much huge battery, in medium usage the phone was giving 1.5 days. And if your usage will be light, then the phone will run for almost 2 days. In spite of 720p display and its huge battery the battery life of Y91C, because of its inefficient MediaTek processor,, it was not that good as it should have been, and it would be better if in the box Vivo had given a 2Amp power brick instead of the 1Amp Moving towards the camera, there is no dual camera setup at the back there is this 13MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture in the phone along with it there is also an LED flashAt the front there is a 5MP selfie shooter. And both front and back cameras are AI capable. By looking at f/2.4 aperture forget about the low light performance. But in daylight or great lighting the images are not that good looking. The images were coming a little dark and soft. And I found it dull. Along with it, because of the f/2.4 aperture the lesser light falls on the sensor and even in medium lighting because of the low shutter speed, the images gets blurred easily. Along with it, I also felt some shutter light and the Dynamic range of this camera is just okay. After a long time, we have reviewed a budget phone on this channel, and overall, I really like the Vivo 91C, for the price range of Rs. 18,000/-. Yeah, a lot features are sacrificed in this phone, but this phone also offers some of the features that competitors don't, in this price range. Its dewdrop notch, its huge 4030 mAh battery, and in that price range where most competitors phones are offering 16GB phones there this phone has 32GB internal storage, and full dual SIM support, are its standout features. Just 2 - 3 downsides are that in spite having a huge battery the battery life of this phone was not as good as it could be. The included power brick in the box is very under-powered. there is no hands-free headset given witht the phone and the camera of the phone is also just okay. My recommendation would be that do consider Vivo 91C. Specially when you need a phone for performance oriented or gaming then this phone can fulfill your need at some extent. .
